BUILDING PLANS AND PATTERNS FOR THIS TREASURE CHEST. The finished sizes are 27in. long, 16in. wide, and 15in. tall.  The plans and patterns are professionally printed on heavy card stock.

The treasure chest is easy to build using basic woodworking techniques. The plans have the material list, detailed 3D drawings of each piece, with step by step instructions and a 3D exploded assembly drawing. CAD designed for accuracy.

The pattern for the lid ends is full scale. Simply poke holes through the pattern with a ball point pen right onto the lumber. Connect the dots with a straight edge and saw out with a band saw or scroll saw.

The lid frame and the box can be made completely on a table saw with a fence. A router would be helpful, but the slots and stepped joints can also be made with a table saw. The strips for the curved lid are easier than they look. Simply tilt the table saw blade to 6 ½ degree and skim the tapered sides.
